I am currently researching the enslaved individuals owned by the Dickinson family. Samuel Dickinson, Henry's father moved from Maryland to Delaware. He left, I assume, Henry to run Crosiidor the family's plantation in Trapp, Talbot County, Maryland. It being a tobacco plantation and thus needful of a large labor force, I can only assume that enslaved were left there by Samuel. Samuel has enslaved in Delaware. Did he bring them to Delaware from Maryland? Did he leave enslaved there with Henry? How many? Did Henry leave a will? I have so many questions..
