HIs locked date of birth needs correction please-- a BETWEEN may be best.

Clan MacBean in North America, Volume II, Fifth Edition, Revised 1993, by Joseph S. Bean, page 137-138 gives the date of Mordecai Bean as March 29, 1744.
The Daughters of the American Revolution give his date of birth as March 28, 1738. [3]
The inscription on his grave marker indicates he died at the age of seventy years, in 1814, which gives credibility to the birth year of 1744.
His Find A Grave memorial uses the DAR birth date, which would make him 76 at the time of his death and so does not match his marker.
