Zadock Briggs - DNA Profile, Wife, Parents

According to the info in the DNA Tab of
"There is conflicting DNA evidence propagated from relatives in the family tree. To determine the source of the discrepancy, other males in the conflicting paternal lines should be tested for their Y-DNA. View a list of living males who can be tested for Y-DNA to resolve this discrepancy."

Results were propagated from two different individuals, each of whom appears on Geni and has linked his DNA to his Profile.
Nobody just wrote down the results. They were propagated.
It seems - One or more of the individuals who tested is almost certainly not related as currently shown.

In DNA Tab - Where you see "Y-DNA (paternal line only)" and to right "View Detail"

There is no conflicting DNA evidence-you simply have someone uploading DNA that is part of the William Briggs line, and it's a error because Zadock Briggs is not related to him! My husband's SAR application back to Zadock #163663 contains all the written documentation back to him. His YDNA Test has him in the I1a Haplogroup, and his Autosomal DNA matches well over 50 other known ancestors of Zadock Briggs through Zadock's children Ansel Townsend Briggs, Zara Briggs, and Marquis de Lafayette Briggs. We are also looking for Zadock's father but it's basic DNA that he will not be from a different Haplogroup! I will have him upload his autosomal test to this website so you can see how many matches of Zadock descendants he has in his ThruLines.
