Madresfield Court is a country house in Malvern, Worcestershire, England. The home of the Lygon family for nearly six centuries, it has never been sold and has passed only by inheritance since the 12th century; a line of unbroken family ownership reputedly exceeded in length in England only by homes owned by the British Royal Family.

If I understand, the estate is still in the Ligon family. Geni appears to have a broken linage.

Isn't this man a part of this lineage? William Lygon, 1st Earl Beauchamp

Madresfield Court has been the home of the Lygon family for nearly 900 years, the first known house being recorded on the site in the 12th century.

The Lygon family still own this home. My question is why Geni appears to have a broken ancestry tree for the England side of the lineage?

No one had built the bridge. It's there now.

Thank you, Ladies !
