Dear all,
Unfortunately, they are currently not indexed, which means you need to manually search the thousands of pages of dcouments; however, here are hopefully all of the birth, marriage and death records for Lemberg/Lviv/Lwow:

MARC and others: I did not see the beginning of your post, but I know for a fact that most of the Lemberg Jewish records have been indexed, by Gesher Galicia and JRI-Poland, both free sites, Gesher Galicia site also includes an inventory of all the Galician records that have so far been identified in most of the pertinent Polish and Ukrainian archive--by archive and by city--and who has inventoried what and what remains to be done. There will also be links to the actual pages in the metrical books for many books, where available. The war in Ukraine has affected some of this. but I am not sure of the overall impact. In some cases, you do need a membership (very modest) to get the links, but the database of indexed records is free to search, by name, town and other attributes. There are also many other interesting components to the web site--like a comprehensive digital map room.

JRI-Poland is migrating its databases. Please use the legacy system for the most comprehensive searches at this time.
My paternal family started in Lemberg at the time of the adoption of hereditary Jewish surnames, around 1790.
There is also another set of records from Lemberg that is unusual, that the LDS has on hand, that is not indexed. It is for families that were legally permitted to live in the city and environs and got an official Congregational number and records were collating by this number over about 50 years--ending in 1850? timeframe.
Sincerely, Ann Harris, Los Angeles
