The facts are Sir James married 1st Frances Sapcote & 2nd Anne Barnard. He died in Feb. 2, 1613 & Frances Sapcote died in Sept.1599 according to their tombstones.
He had 16 children all with Frances-again according to their tombstones-9 sons & 7 daughters.
