Hey Adam, hope all is good. I see that I didn't clarify here what I meant. Currently, there are only two documented daughters of RAYL. There are known descendants alive today (we haven't found our connection yet), but only through RAYL daughters. Based on the number of Bomze's found in the records in the 1850's it would seem that RAYL had many sons, but we don't know.
Is there a way to find more descendants of his by using autosomal or mtdna? I'm at a brickwall in terms of the papertrail unless you know of records for the time period of 1760 to 1850 in the Lviv or Tarnopol regions.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Binny, There may be a way, but it would be a life's work to discover more descendants of RAYL using only autosomal an/or mtdna and/or ydna (or any combination). The only hope for people like us in this situation is an AI for autosomal and mtdna, that also has access to enough testing results to make the connection visible. This is probably a long way off. Best Regards and Happy Purim, Adam
PS: Obtaining a more precise G-M201 is still a very good way of locating descendants along that one line so I am tagging the originator of that result here: Private User Sometimes finding y-group descendants can lead to other branches and descendants that run along different lines.
