I can find NO evidence that Jesse Maynard existed. If he did, was he the father of Marcus Maynard???. There are no validated records that I have seen to confirm either a spouse or a child named Marcus when he was only age 17 or so. Therefore, for my family history, I have removed Jesse Maynard until I can find direct evidence that he is the father of Marcus or any other Maynard child.
My records now reflect Marcus Maynard is the son of William 'Bill' Maynard Jr. or III, as numerous records suggest.
Please notify me if better evidence of the existence of Jessie Maynard exists.
