Florence Symons was 22 years old when they married. He has been connected to a person who would have been 18 years old at that time, and she also died in childhood. Her older sister, also named Florence, who was born in 1878, also died in childhood.

Cliff notes version: the current wife is wrong and the correct wife is from a totally different family; current wife needs disconnect and new wife created?

I'd suggest disconnecting the parents of Florence Ethel Mitchell (William Symons and Jane Ford) and changing her birth date/location to match the BDM record you posted.

Then create a new profile for daughter of William Symons and Jane Ford 1882-1883

This should be achievable without Curator assistance, but if you need specific advice just ask

I think that is the easiest way too. It won't let me disconnect the parents. I get a red box and a warning about splitting the tree. Is there some other way to do it?

Okay, "splitting the tree" means that the relationship you're disconnecting would result in a small tree not joined to the World Family Tree, there's no way that you can proceed that I am aware of.

Splitting the tree is one tool that curators has in excess of a normal user, it was worth a try.
