Edmund has too many mothers connected, possibly a result of the Gedcom upload. I have his mother as:

ANCESTORS: Son of Richard Knowles and Elizabeth (Prettyman) Knowles

as shown in his notes from Wiki.

These are my son's paternal ancestors, so thanks in advance for any clarification / correction on the connections so the Geni pathways are correct.

I have Elizabeth (Prettyman) Knowles as Edmund’s mother here on Geni but realize I have her listed as Prudence (Prettyman) Knowles on my Ancestry.com tree. Geni should be correct. My great grandmother was born a Knowles and I have her book she self published on her families extensive genealogy, I can certainly double check the book tomorrow. Let me know if you would like any further information for the Knowles genealogy book. I’d be happy to supply it to you!

I'm so glad you posted! So nice to meet a cousin of my son's on these lines! I'd LOVE any additional info on or from the Knowles genealogy book!

Those Prettyman women have been confusing! In my Ancestry tree I ended up putting Prudence Prettyman as the wife of Richard Knowles and Patience Prettyman as the wife of Edmund Knowles. I'd love more confidence in knowing for certain whether I have the connections correct.

My son's paternal great-great grandmother was Sarah Clementine Knowles who married Daniel Thomas Goddard. I see here on Geni that you and my son are distant cousins.

I greatly appreciate any info from your great-grandmother's publication that would help clarify the connections. Finally! lol
