Ridiculous! This is an entirely DIFFERENT man with an OLD stone.
This is NOT the same as the man buried in SOUTH CAROLINA!

Yes, I am looking at the DAR records and thinking "What?" Mercy!

I can drive about 30 minutes to Gray Court in Laurens if that will do any good, but not sure what else I can do to check on anything.

Today I found ANOTHER man of same name with a wife Amy West or Gant and I think that may actually be helpful to sort them because these are MANY managers with descendants attached

I had forgotten I had started this discussion and added here once I rediscovered it---- appears the same two men got merged again.
They are unmerged but I think we need a new profile for the otther ELizabeth.
Gonna take some work biut is doable.
That FaG "memorial" is in need of correction but I can't make a suggestion while they are not understood here first as far as I am concerned---- I have had really good luck in getting memorials corrected when there is evidence.
