@Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal, 1840-1895
The photo that is attached to the left of the page entry for "Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal" (1840-1895), as well as his family group picture, is not Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal. In other words, the picture is incorrect, and someone has posted the wrong photo
The photo is actually the photo of the family of Mikkel Larsen Mikkelsen. He was born in 1857 at Røros and he died in 1939 at Highland Grove Twp in Clay Co, Minnesota, USA. He was married to a sister of my great-grandfather. She was most often known as Olia Soffie Simensdatter Grue, 1858-1931. She died at Highland Grove Twp in Clay Co, Minnesota.
Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal's (1840-1895) parents were Mikkel Larsen Midtdal (1793-1887) and Berit Semundsdatter Bakken (1797-1851). Mikkel Larsen Midtdal's children are likely correct as indicated in this family tree. Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal's (1840-1895) did have a sister, named Beret Sofie Mikkelsdatter Midtdal (1832-1899). She along with her husband (Lars Mikkelsen, 1830-1922) left Norway 1870 and 7 children, eventually homesteading in Clay Co, Minnesota.
As I have stated above, the problem with this Family Tree is the photo that is attached to Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal (1840-1895) and it is not the correct person.
