@Anja Tulenheimo-Takki (Tulenheimo) - my deceased sister has two profiles, one should be deleted but I cannot do it. Who can? The right one is the one which has both her birthday and the day she passed away.

Hei Antti, I requested Geni staff to make your sister's profile deceased. Give it a day or two and then you will be able to merge the two profiles together.

Hi! Can I ask for help again? This time it's about my cousin Samuli Apajalahti's son Seppo Apajalahti: in the family tree he is quite rightly one of Samuli's 4 children, and his wife is Raili Apajalahti. However, someone has added a 2nd Seppo, and on top of everything, has added him as his own son. This mess is impossible to rectify without professional help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Antti, when i search Geni i find two Seppo Apajalahti

Private and he is the Husband of Raili
This Seppo is also the brother AND father of another Seppo Apajalahti

Problematically for use the second Seppo is a Geni user. I am not permitted to edit the profile of a Geni user without their explicit request, no matter how obvious or straight forward the issue is.
I will see if i can reverse some of the merges that must have been done wrong to create this situation, give me a few days.

Ok - but would it be possible to remove the other Seppo, the one where his and his wife's names are SEPPO Jaakko Samuli Apajalahti and RAILI Irmeli Apajalahti, they've clearly been added by someone after the real Seppo became a Geni user. It looks to me that he only wanted to add his own name but not his wife's. And he clearly wouldn't have added himself as his son.

The managers of those profiles should be able to delete them, or if they ask a curator for help we would do it for them but we cannot just delete them without the request.

It's very seldom I am looking my own profile.

Now I noticed first time that there is a place for "Discusions"

I deleted Raili Irmeli now.

Her husband is my blood relative in Husgafvel familytree as 14th great grandson of my paternal ggggg...grandfater born in 14th century.
