Is Samuel Adair really the son of James Robert Adair and Anna Esther Adair? He's my ancestor and I have it all sourced to him, but after him, all we really know is that he was from Rockbridge VA and there is a James Adair (also from Rockbridge VA) that was married to Isabella Jane Adair, that Samuel was associated with in certain legal documents that seems to imply a blood relationship. But this James Adair Jr is not James Robert Adair and died on the way to Ohio with Samuel and his family, plus the Buntains and others.
