I'm trying to find correct info for these connections, having just discovered they're in my son's paternal lines.

Anyway, Family Search shows:

https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/KNBK-F7R/ann-folsum-1720

Ann Folsum was born about 1720, in Virginia, British Colonial America as the daughter of Jerimiah Folsum. She married George Nail in 1739, in Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons.

the big difference being her husband is listed as George Nail, not Nicholas.

This page for her doesn't list her maiden name or parents:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-539863

ant this page shows her maiden name but a different mother and no name for her husband:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Folsom-1480

So, does anyone have any documentation to clarify all these differing details for the connections?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks for the info and those links, Tery. I 'thought' I'd seen somewhere in the past that the Nail line is NA. I'm not sure the connection being made to my son's line holds up, the more I've looked into it though.

What I had found was that on Ancestry and Geni Lydia Nail from those lines was connected as a direct ancestor on Len's paternal lines. Erica Howton helped work on it and it was discovered that Lydia and her husband Isaac Edwards were each other's second spouses and didn't marry until three years after Len's direct ancestor Mary (Edwards) Ellington, meaning Mary's mother has to be Isaac's unknown first wife.

So, all the work I was putting into the Nail connections ended up with them just being an inlaw connection. I had gotten excited, thinking Len was a Nail, Perkins, Folsom descendant. lol

Glad you found connection.
The Folsom lines are well documented-

Thanks
