I see you have a Friedrich Meuser in your tree.
Could this be my greatgrandmother's 2nd husband? Her name was Philippine Charlotte Meuser (nee Fuhrer, 1st husband Wittmer)

Hi

I have numerous Friedrich Meuser's in my Tree, including my birth father (whom I never met). I have a much more complete Tree on Ancestry.com if you have access to that. It appears we are related (cousins at some degree) so it is very possible. Do you have a birth year for your Friedrich Mesuer? I might be able to find the answer with that info. Thanks!

I believe My Friedrich Meuser would have been born around 1884

We are getting closer. My GG Philipp K. H. Meuser had a son named Friedrich Meuser , born in Hesse, Germany in 3/25/1884 and died 7/3/1958 . I guess that makes him my great-uncle. I am still trying to get some info on him.

That would be great. It is entirely possible he was married to my gg grandmother Philippine Charlotte Fuhrer Wittmer Meuser. She went by the name Charlotte.I don't think Meuser is a very common name.

I just found one of my grandmother's documents listing her mother (Charlotte) living in Mengeringhausen in 1950.

I am becoming pretty sure we have the same individual. I am not a member of Ancestry; however Friedrich August and Friedrich Wilhelm (my gg grandmother's husband) are both listed there in Mengeringhausen for that time period.

Did you mention in the other discussion, something about the family name Wagner? My father's father Willi Wagner (who died circa 1941). My gg pressured my grandmother to marry him. I am wondering if they were also related to the Meusers. Now, wouldn't that be something?!! Does the name Willi Wagner or Hermann Wagner or the family Wagner living on Bahnstrasse Bad Arolsen mean anything? I would love to be able to tell my 81 year old dad about his family.
