I believe the registry is in error. It shows Hani was born to Ignatz Reiner & Czilli Klein and Entry #23 shows Herman born to Mor Krigler and Czilli Morgenstern.
1) Both mothers are named Czilli, so it could be an easy error.
2) Herman Reiner marriage record to Johanna Nix in 1897, Brooklyn NY shows his parents are Ignatz Reiner and Czilli Klein.
3) Herman Reiner death record in 1917, Bronx NY shows his parents are Ignatz Reiner and Czilli Klein
4) Herman Reiner US Naturalization index card shows birth May 15, 1868.
5) Herman Reiner buried at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Queens NY headstone show birth date May 15, 1868.

What are the odds of birth date and parents names in Herman Reiner US records being the same as the Hungarian birth parents below him in Entry 24.

If anyone has questions or would like to discuss, please let me know.

I'm a little confused Michael, mainly because your entry had no links to an existing record or to a tree on Geni. Furthermore, I could find no Geni tree for a Herman born to a Mor Krigler.

To get us onto the right track,
is this archival record that you feel has been misread at some stage?
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS87-M92J-V?cat=26...
and is this the Geni tree that you feel may be incorrect?

Although it would certainly be useful to have Hermans tree (with all the links you have just mentioned) in order to compare one with the other, a more significant most confusing additional aspect is that Herman was a Guy and the archival record clearly states that Hani was a Gal.

Having now had a little time to study the related records Michael, I made a number of checks. Herman failed to appear elsewhere as a son of Mor and Czili Kreigler, and Hani failed to reappear elsewhere as a daughter of Ignacz and Czili Reiner. In fact I found nothing that would contradict your assumption that the following error had been made in the birth register.
It would seem that Herman's exact date of birth and parents had somehow been incorrectly aligned with Hani .

That being so, I would raise no objection if you changed Hani's gender and forename (with a link to the archival source and a small supporting note), and then merged your later research to the revised profile.

Regards Roy

Hello Roy,
It has been a little while since we last connected(Apr 2020). My apologies for not fully explaining or attaching links to documents that I have referenced in believing that in the Birth Registry, the names of entry 23 & 24 were incorrectly entered and that Herman should be the son of Ignacz Reiner and Czilli Klein, while Hani is the child of Mor Krigler and Czilli Morgenstern(see below link with issue)

https://www.familysearch.org/:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS87-M92J-V?cat=26...

Below are some links to records that I mentioned in my original post.

4) Herman Reiner -US Naturalization index card -

5) Herman Reiner - Mt. Hebron Cemetery Queens NY headstone

I do not believe I have write access to the tree to update Hani to Herman:

https://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000128994662880

So, I am not sure how I would change the tree and merge Herman info to it.

If I can get access, I could update it as well as other families in it.
Let me know the best way to update it and I will do it.
Best Wishes,
Michael Reiner
