Will of William E. Brockett: Where is Daughter Rhoda (Brockett) Sloan?

Two years before the recording of William Ebenezer Brockett's will, Rhoda Brockett Sloan departed from Smith County Tennessee to Limestone County, Alabama and remained there until between 1817 and February 1829 when she bore a daughter again in Smith County, Tennessee. It is believed for this reason that Rhoda Sloan does not appear in the document. DNA parity with Elisha Hardin Brockett is so strong that it is nearly impossible to explain the DNA correspondence with 3 children of William Ebenezer Brockett if she were not a sibling. Over 100 descendants of Rhoda Brockett Sloan show parity with the Brockett family, according to Ancestry DNA report. According to the volume on the Descendants of John Brockett, the name Rhoda appeared multiple times in the near family of William Ebenezer Brockett, however they did not dwell in the South; only William Ebenezer dwelt and died in Smith County, Tennessee.
