Father referred to as Samuel Selig Monteviersky (sic).storekeeper. and his wife Yarcha Frida, née Yosef (sic).
Was a trader in furs and a teacher at the Yeshiva. Died in the influenza pandemic of 1918.
Grandpa Samuel was Head Teacher in a Yeshiva in Skoud (Skoudas) which was on the border of Lithuania and Latvia (as is Zagare) and is situated 120 km from Zagare. .
Revision List dated 26/5/1858 - 7 Montoriski's all living together in Zagare, Russia.

Passport Application 1920
Zelda Shatkun, maiden name Mantoritsiiki, from Telsiaii, applied for an internal passport on 29 June1920 at the age of 64 (so born 1856). There was no mention of her father's name so relationship not known, so not entered in Family Tree.
Lithuania Births
Zelda Shatkun (and her husband Ber Leib Shatkun) had three sons, Leizer 29/9/1885, David 30/5/1889, and Shlioma 4/11/1890 in Telsiai. Comments -Town-dweller. Family from Zagare.

Breina Montriski (or Mintriski) - had a cloth dyeing and knitting socks factory in New Town of Skuodas. She was murdered, aged 75, on 16 August 1941 in Alka Hill by Lithuanian collaborators of the Nazis. See link - Murder of Jews of Skuodas for more details.
