I am finding a cluster of DNA cousins who can be explained by the Trowbridge family link, besides, and would so like a track or trail of her life.
A Tabitha Trowbridge has seemingly forever been linked as married to John Robbins 1784-1861. This would be my 4th Great Grandfather. It has always puzzled me that she was almost a decade older than him. An unusual marriage mating.
Her death in Windham Township is some distance from Dorchester (Thames Centre) home of John Robbins and no documentation of her residence anywhere else but New Jersey.
I haven't yet seen any biography, stories, nor some explanation as to how this arrangement might have occurred. Granted 1812 certainly had something to do with it; people moving everywhere, but it is painful and curious that there isn't any documentation or even family stories found or linked.
