fyi/ Please see links below on the Flushing Remonstrance.

It appears this Edmund (Edward) Farrington, could be or could be connected to the courageous Signers of “The Flushing Remonstrance” on December 27, 1657, regarded as the Founding Document for Religious Freedom, (specifically including Quakers), a petition to Peter Stuyvesant, Governor, New Amsterdam / Dutch East India Company.

Reading the doc's.. and cross referencing with the Geni profile: Edward Farrington who is Edmund of Lynn's son, we can be led to believe that it is the son Edmund (transcribed Edward (!)) who signed the Flushing Remonstrance. He was the son-in-law of Thomas Bowne

Thomas Bowne was as a member of the Quakers. He emigrated to Boston 1649 with his wife Mary, son John and daughter Dorothy. He moved to Flushing, Long Island, New York c1651

The Geni WFT already has Edmund jr.'s wife Dorothy Farrington and is, I see, earmarked/tagged to the Remonstrance

I suppose that is 'someone' would like to make a project of all the people who signed this Remonstrance, we's have an even more complete picture.

..and each profile I add seems to have had some Erica Howton curation ... :-o

Maybe because I’m a proud New Yorker?:)

Thank you for adding Other Figures

John Bowne ; see also in wikipedia and wife Hannah.

I was trying to figure out how to get John Bowne in there.

Did you love the Superman comic or what? Is there a DC Universe movie in our future? Heh.

Sadly (?) I think we need a “Signers of the Flushing Charter” (1645) linked project also.
