Ann has two same-name husbands connected. They're not the same man, having different parents. Ancestry only shows her married to the one whose parents are Joseph and Betty (Clark) Anthony:

Father
Joseph Anthony (1713–1785)
Mother
Elizabeth Ann Betty Clark (1720–1822)
Spouse
Nancy Ann Tate (1752–1834)

Is there documentation proving conclusively which James Anthony was her husband?

I disconnected one & left the other. The documentation showing the correct James Anthony would be available from DAR. Look at the DAR link & see if that answers your question.

It's still showing both husbands connected. The DAR link shows that one was married to Anne Nancy Tate.

Thanks for pointing that out about the DAR hyperlink. I had never even thought to click that to see any records. I don't know what I thought the hyperlink went to. Had just never clicked on one before. Now I know! lol
