There were two Thomas Tripletts, one was baptised in 1601 in Waddeson when his name was given as Thomas Triplat, in 1622 he married Elizabeth Googe in Waddesdon his name was then given as Thomas Tripplet. A Thomas Triplet son of Robert Triplet a stationer was baptised on 6 April 1602 in St Nicholas Cole Abbey a few minutes' walk from Robert Triplet's stationer's shop in Old Fish Street, City of London. All of Thomas's siblings were baptised in St Nicholas Cole Abbey.
There is a distinct possibility that Thomas Triplett of Waddesdon and Thomas Triplett of the City of London were cousins.
