Now that Asaf was able to reverse engineer based on a query of mine to JewishGen, I have reverted to her nephew, and my uncle, who now recalls his father did mention his sister from time to time and that he called her Tsirel. This corresponds with transcribed index records from LitvakSig, and at a later date I will endeavor to look up the records in Cyrilic and consult with some FSU friends.
