Can we find some good sources to firm up who Rev. Benjamin Daniel Vines' parents were? We have two different women proposed for his mother, and we also have dates that don't work.

The couples currently proposed are:

Benjamin Marion Vines and Nancy A Denton (father's birth date impossible)
Benjamin Marion Vines and Nancy Chandler (mother's death date impossible)

Thank you! My tree gets very wonky when I get to this generation. I'm showing the same info you have and some confusing siblings. I'll do some archival digging, but hoping someone else already has this worked out :)

Here is a great record of B. Marion Vines' complicated life (B. Daniel Vines' father) stating more accurate info which answers a lot of our questions:

It looks like his mother is Nancy A.Denton Vines, who died at 34- a couple of weeks after B D Vines' birth in 1884.
