Robert Latham Owen, Sr. - Parents Need Some Corrections

I had to stop and look twice at the profiles connected here on Geni because the name Jane Jones Jemima Owen as his mother is confusing. So I did some Googling:

Per Wikipedia, the correct info for the parents of this Robert Latham Owen Sr. are Dr. William Owen and Jane Latham (hence his middle name Latham):

Robert Latham Owen was born to Dr. William Owen of Lynchburg, Virginia and his wife Jane Latham Owen.

lists Dr. William Otway Owen as an uncle of Robert Latham Owen Jr., not a direct ancestor:

" His grandfather, Dr. William Owen, and uncle, Dr. William Otway Owen Sr. (1820–92)"

I'm not certain but it may be that Robert Latham Owen's father was named William Otway Owen Sr. and named Robert's brother William Otway Owen Jr. I see some Ancestry trees show them that way, but in my brief Googling for the parents of Robert Latham Owen Sr., as the links above indicate, their father is just listed as William, no middle name.

That said, Ancestry trees have Robert's brother William Otway Owen married to Alice Lynde: In any case, it's Robert Sr.'s brother William Otway who Wikipedia is referencing as the uncle of Robert Jr. So all that fits.

I hope this helps with sorting the connections on these same-name Owen menfolk.
