Among the dead from Richard lll's fateful charge was 27-year-old Humphrey Beaufo of Barford and Whelton. His death having occurred in 1485 was confirmed by the 1619 Visitation of Warwickshire.
Humphrey Beaufo's daughter Johanna was safely married-off into one of the strongest Tudor families in Warwickshire.
