How do I gain manager access on my direct line of ascent?

I want to be able to add smart matches and source assistant on my direct line of ascent following my grandfather's maternal line

There's several options.
You can add yourself as manager on any profile within your Family Group.
Being a Collaborator with existing profiles will improve your edit rights.
You can request management of any profile.

Thank you! I love what geni has helped me do and I am learning a lot just by spending a lot of time on the website. The collaborative feature here makes up for the somewhat steep learning curve!
