Further research has revealed that Harriet's mother's first name is Lovica (but written "Lovicy" on her marriage certificate, and later written as "Louisa"). Harriet's older brother, William, died just before she was born in October, 1840. Her baby sister, Olive, was born only five months before her father, Levi Boyd Jr. died at age 32. Two month after his death, baby Olive died, leaving only one remaining child, Harriet Ellen Boyd, and her widowed, young mother, Louisa Sabin Boyd. Records show that in 1849, Harriet's guardian, her maternal grandfather Nehemiah Sabin, petitioned the court to sell Harriet's share in the Boyd farm which she inherited from her father. In Levi Boyd Sr.'s will, the farm was to be split between Levi Jr. and his younger brother, Riley. Thus, Harriet was sole heir to her father's farm property inheritance. By this time, Lovica Boyd had married Charles Willilams, a merchant, born in Batavia, NY, and widowed with a son, John. Lovica and Charles had a son, George Williams who was three years younger than his half-sibling, Lovica, Charles and their children moved to Rainham, Haldimand, Ontario, Canada. Charles had a store near Sweet's Corner. Harriet Ellen Boyd left home at 18 to marry John William Fradenburgh of Haldimand County, Ontario, Canada. They lived on his family farm and raised their two sons there: Levi Boyd Fradenburgh and John Victor Fradenburgh. Both sons had children, with one being called, "Boyd".
