Burnside was a Judge moved to Union Indiana were my william was married in 1846? Annette Maichen sight2c@hotmail.com 1850 list William and Eliza as mulatto

I'm not sure I understand the question. Can you elaborate more? Do you think some data is wrong in this profile? Annette Maichen

NO Theres nothing wrong... Ive been having trouble finding the parents of William Hall and on the 1850 census it states that he and his first wife Eliza Jane Thomas were listed as mulotto. So when I found out that judge burnside was at his wedding I thought maybe my ancestor was a slave in Rockbridge va, Becuase Burnside used to be a slave owner. and I thought it was odd that he was the plus a misiter george Brown

Interesting. Some useful biographical information can be found here: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/98133316/edghill-burnside

Burnside was a judge and well-known in that area of Indiana, so perhaps he knew Wiliiam Hall from Indiana? Or maybe the judge was invited to the wedding as a well-known personality. It looks like they moved to Indiana in 1808, and they had freed their slaves by that point I think, and thus this was before William was born.
