It has been long established that there are two Jacob Frederick Bodenhofers in Anamosa Iowa at the same time. These are unrelated. Jacob Frederick Bodenhofer who married Rebecca Soesbe, his father was George Gottlieb Bodenhofer. It is noted in our family bible as this.
