Hi, AFAIK John Duren's parents were George Vickery 1799-1852 and Fanny Howell 1794-1870 though I haven't properly "proved" this. My Vickerys were from around eastern Alabama. AFAIK my John Duren Vickery 1834-1901 was in the CSA AL 33rd Co. D, married to Sarah Knowles 1837-1923 and the father Hiram Booker Vickery 1877-1950. Hope this helps. Cheers, John
