In my research on family tree,Jean Stewart is my 13th great grandmother,so thus Elizabeth Bethune,is proported to be her mother- thus my 14th great grandmother,so David Bethune- would be my 15th great grandfather - right?

Ok- more research - Jean Stewart(b.-@1528-1542; d.-7 jan.1587/88) is the illegitimate dau. Of Elizabeth Bethune - ( who was married to John Stewart- 4th Lord of Innermeath--- son of Richard- 3th Lord of Innermeath & Margaret Lindsay) - was the dau. of John Bethune -2nd Laird of Creich and Janet le Haye, Bethune (Beaton), Hamilton (of Arran) Hay. If this is how it works out then John Bethune is my 15th great grandfather and David Bethune is my 15th great uncle,right?
