Curators can revert, and so have done. Activity shows on the profile revisions tab. Wiping data in a shared tree with multiple managers is a violation of therms and conditions for use of geni. Often it seems someone doesn’t know another way to correct data. Again, curators can help with that.

Apparently you had erased the names and dates of these profiles you do not manage. Why?
They needed to be tagged to the profiles, which I have done.
On 17 JUN 1710 at the Third Haven Quaker Meeting, Talbot, Maryland, Magdalene Stevens married Daniel Maud, mariner from London. His name is also transcribed as Daniel Hand, and that’s how he’s described in some genealogies.
Who were the children?
Joan Colleen Walter - it looks like a transcription issue. The records certainly look like “Daniel Maud” to me, but apparently had been interpreted (?) as “Daniel Hand.”
I collaborate with the profile manager, so with the records attached as evidence, have updated the name formerly seen as Daniel Hand in Geni to Daniel Maud. However, the children need further sorting.
Another option would be to detach profiles from each other if we believe it’s different people being mixed up. Only PRO members and curators can do this. In this case, the name clarification seems the better way to go.
By changing the name of all the people on the profiles you removed info, they became No Name. It did not change the lineage. It created work for others to turn them back to the names they were.
Erasing a name doesn't fix an error.
Starting a Discussion on a profile allows you to state your concern and for others to help fix any problem if they are able to argue for or against what is in the profile.
We merge and disconnect all the time on Geni. It is a public collaborative genealogy site and only works as well as the people using it.
Depending where you live, the time may be different, because we are each shown the time in our own time zone, but when I look in the Revisions Tab I see
"Magdalene (Stevens) Hand's profile was updated by Joan Walter. birth, first name, last name, and birth surname « less
Jun 24, 2020 at 2:48 PM · view"
And when I click "view" I see all those fields had their values removed then.
And that was the last change to that profile until Erica started fixing it this March 18th.
