The Rosenfield name

Hi to everyone, Many times I've seen the Rosenfield name listed as a corruption of Rosenfeld. So far I have found that all the descendants of all the families I've talked with say the family name in the old country was "Rosenfield" this includes Hungary, Russia, Lithuania, France and England. Please send me your Rosenfield family tree. I'm guessing that the name was adopted during the time when people were "coining" names, but this half English half German name seems unlikely to turn up so widely distributed.
