My son is a Bohannon descendant on his dad's side and I'm working on his Bohannon DNA matches. He has a match with a descendant of this Ruth and her husband William Bohannon. However, I'm uncertain which is the correct lineage for this Ruth.
1. Ancestry trees show her parents as Thomas Barnes and Mary Knowles.
2. Notes in her Geni profile reference her Find-a-Grave page where her maiden name is shown as Booten with the note;
