According to Joe Scraper this couple had 9 children (WikiTree shows only 1), the four profiles being detached have provided no supporting documentation or other justification (a single reference to an Ancestry.com record has no internal corroborating references)

Soldier's son Abraham listed the following siblings in his Eastern Cherokee testimony: Joseph (apparently died very young), Matthew (died at age 4), William (died age 10), Ellen, Samson, Joshua, Charlotte, and Betsy, so 9 in all. It looks like all except Abraham died before the Dawes.

Abraham also listed children that Soldier raised who weren't his - a niece Vianna, a girl named Lucy, and a boy named Ool-skaw-nee
