I knew Mordechai Gurvitz. His nickname was "Mordki". Never heard him referred to as Max and I don't know how to change this on Geni. What is the source for Max?
I have seen "Max" on other trees on Ancestry.com-- that said I added "Mordki" to his profile. The MyHeritage tree says his nickname is Mutaka or מוטקה and this appears to be a good source.
