I assume you are referring to this profile: Sigarr Halfdansson, {Hversum Noreg byggdist} and I am surprised that the curator Alex Moes have not looked for duplicates before MP'ing and locking these profiler. Profiles from this saga usually have hundreds of managers.

Bjorn, if i recall correctly this profile is specifically created as a duplicate, or at least MPd to preserve it from being merged into other MPs. If you look at the About of the profile you'll see that there has been a merge at some point and it looks like the Sigarr from Hversum Noreg byggdist has been merged with the Sigarr from Volsunga saga, though I cannot see evidence for this in the Revisions tab which is odd.

You can see from revisions that Justin, Harald and myself were trying to create stand alone trees for each of the major sagas, the Projects this profile is linked to are further evidence of a merge at some point. Our intent perhaps wasn't clearly stated enough anywhere and there was vehment push back from other Curators, like most endeavours in this part of the tree it just got too much work.

For the record I am curator of many of these profiles in order to increase the number of "eyes on" Justin did not want to be creator, manager and curator for so many profiles. I think at one point also Mike may have done a curatorship bulk transfer but my memory is hazy.

"Hversum Noreg byggdist" is in the suffix field, it should not be triggering any inconsistency warnings, I am not seeing one when i view the profile.

Bjorn, follow up. The CN is not attributed to anyone in particular which is very odd. Has the software changed?
