There seems to be merging of Savage and Savedge family. Savage family lived in Virginia/West Virginia while Savedge family lived in Indiana. Trying to find other resources, my source for Savage/Ervin is “Genealogy of the Jacob and Mary (Connolly) Feather Family of Preston County West Virginia” by Edna (Davis) Rogers published in 1980
