I've seen indicators that he was the father of Leonard Seay born August 25, 1774 Albemarle County, VA. Leonard was the son of Susannah (Sukey) Seay. His parents were never married and his mom ended up marrying a Griffin. Leonard used his mother's maiden name. Leonard married Permelia Hensley (1774-1858) They had 10 children and settled in Kentucky. I have read on Ancestry that DNA shows Nathan Talley as the father. My mother's thrulines on Ancestry show that Nathan Talley is likely the father of Leonard Seay. Leonard Seay died Sept 27 1842 in Washington County, KY.
