Alice "Aley" Means (,) - Aley's marriage to John Means

I do not think they where married. I believe Aley is a nickname for Alice. Isaac went with his brother Robert to North Carolina at age 10 approx.
There he meet Alice and married her, after their son Thomas was born in 1770 they moved to a farm in Washington Co., Tn. There is no mention of John going to North Carolina with Robert, he most likely stayed in Pennsylvania. Church records for the Mulkey Meeting house near Tompkinsville Kentucky members listed Alice Means, Isaac Means Sr. and Jr. Susannah Means, and Sally Lane (Sarah Sally Means) about 1800.
