There seems to be a bit of confusion as to Baruch's being a son of Ahron Brod. I havent found any reliable source for that connection
Wachstein is a source that Baruch was from thosethat were expelled from vienna and came to Eisemstadt.
Ahron Brod's sons Abraham and Hirsch, were also in that cattegory, and both had children that married Baruch's children.
I believe that linkage, as well as the Austerlitz name, has led to confusion. However i havw yet to find a source.
Does anyone know of such a source? (I see in the revisions section, that this point has beem an issue in the past,making me wonder why the final result was to indeed list him as a son of Ahron Brod)
