How sure are you that he was born in the city of Grodno and not in the Grodno area? There are records in Geneteka about the name of Dzmitrowicz from the Wawiórka parish, maybe he was born there? Unfortunately, you don't have enough information to help you. The only certain record is that Franciszek and Anna's son was born in 1877. Perhaps Franciszek was born around 1850. This is just my hypothesis though.
Hi John,
I checked your surname on belarusian genealogy portal (https://helper.archonline.by/) in Grodno region and find out that Zmitrovich family were lived in Dorgun village , gmina wiejska Hołynka, powiat Augustów - https://radzima.net/pl/miejsce/dorgun.html
You can ask on that page or here https://t.me/uezdy
