In case I again am seeing date conflicts between French "Vital Records" and Belgian "Birth Notices". This was records as Feb 24, which agreed with the French record. I changed it to Feb 22, in agreement with the Belgian record based on Silvie's own claim to Feb 22 on her naturalization papers for US citizenship in 1953. I'm not sure what, if anything, this says about similar conflicts on other family members, although I've started to note a few others that have similar discrepancies, and the system only wants one date.

The birth was registered on February 24, Sylvia Eugenia was born "the day before yesterday" so on February 22.

"Belgique, Flandre-Occidentale, registres d’état civil, 1582-1910," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GP8N-97HC?cc=2139860&a... : 22 May 2014), Blankenberge > Geboorten, huwelijken, overlijden 1872-1890 > image 559 of 1019; België Nationaal Archief, Brussels (Belgium National Archives, Brussels).

When dealing with documentation it seriously pays to know the language and the practices of the parties doing the documentation. I'm seeing a number of similar discrepancies with similar day or two variations between French and Belgian records. Thank you for the explanation.
