I believe that I Sascha Ferda was named after this Alexander (Sasa) Ferda. My father, Karlheinz Ferda Karlheinz Ferda , travelled with his father Curt Carl Ferda to Milevsko where he met Sasa and they became friends. I was told that they were cousins. After the war, my father tried to find out what happened to Alexander and found out that he was murdered by the Nazis. When I was born (his only sin), he named me after Alexander to ensure that he would be remembered. I have told people about Alexander (Sasa) without knowing anything else about him or ever having seen his picture. Thank you for adding his information to Geni.
