Emeline Lusk was born about 1825 in Lawrence County, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Andrew and Nancy Keen Lusk. She married James Allen Foster in 1839. She died in childbirth in 1847. She is most likely the first person buried in the James Allen Foster Cemetery.
