Descent from Lawson attempting to find more about the family. I know from North Carolina Catawba or Lincoln County. The family moved to Moroe City Knox County in Indiana.

Have you tried https://www.familysearch.org/en ? I did a quick search and found https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/41274191/lawson-alexander-hewitt . Looks like there are lots more there associated with those places. It's free to join and essential to doing genealogical research.

I don't know her, as I usually work lines in New England and the Northeast. As with Emma, have you tried https://www.familysearch.org/en ? It's a good place to start. But you will need a reasonable range of dates to find anything helpful.

I am not a Neely by birth. I am married to Michael Neely who has an account on this website. Try reaching out to him. He has Neely family history.

My family was from Bladen County, North Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia, Sweetwater, Alabama, Horry County South Carolina, and Pittsburgh, PA. My family is black. Our last names are Wright, Cromartie, Nichols, Dumas, and Gordon, and other names. I would need to know what do you want to know. I use the last name Page because that is what my father was using when he married my mother. His actual last name is Wright.

You can click unfollow at the top of the page if nothing pertains to you. Not sure how the system tags people.

I received this inquiry but there are no Huitt/Hewitt s in my family tree.
There are people with Lawson as a surname so perhaps that is why I
received this inquiry. I am not sure how the system works here. I believe that
Geni is now acquired by My Heritage where I maintain my main family tree.

I don't believe there is a relationship to our family.
