I have not found evidence that this is so...the available documents do not list Valentine as a child of this Ninian...morever, he is said to have been born in Pennsylvania, although both an older and a younger child of Ninian's were reportedly born in Rowan County, NC. The identification of Valentine as Ninian's son is not AFAICT supported by any evidence.
