The only obvious duplicates i can find is your father, your version Patrick Theodore Durrett and a duplicate Patrick Theodore Durrett created by someone named Alexandra.

Alexandra used Geni for excatly one day (nearly a decade ago) and has never been back, she created only 2 profiles. Because she is no longer a member there is no way for any of us to edit the profiles that she created.

If there are other duplicates then please at least name them.

In Adrienne's post she said a cousin created duplicate profiles, per my post the only duplicate i can find is of her father Patrick with a daughter named . You are correct that I can action the merge on Patrick but that would result in Adrienne having an extra sister that does not align with her existing tree nor her post here.

As Alexandra's profile is Claimed we would not be able to edit it without her consent but the profile is no longer linked to any email address so any requests sent to her will not be delivered.

On balance i think an isolated tree with just two profiles, even in a probably wrong relationship, is better than an unwanted sibling that cannot be removed.

Strictly speaking i can edit the duplicate Patrick to blank his name and data so as to not show up as a duplicate, which i suppose would resolve the core issue, but i think that this would be an abuse of curator privileges even if the software does permit it.

It is possible that if i approved the Patrick merge and then reported Alexandra as abandoned that management of Alexandra's profile might pass to Adrienne.
IF that occurred Adrienne could either smerge Alexandra into another profile or ask a curator to just cut the profile loose of parental connections.

If the management of the abandoned profile did not transfer to Adrienne I could reverse the Patrick merge and we would be back to where we started.

Adrienne if you'd like to try this experiment let me know and i'll give it a try.

Hi Adrienne, now that you mention her name specifically i looked closer at Alexander Durrett and see it is a woman rather than a man.

Private User created her small Geni tree in 2016 and never logged back on.

I cannot tell when Alexander Durrett joined Geni but she last logged on in 2020.

Your sister needs to log back on or contact customer support directly to get these two accounts merged.

Private User appears to just be a namesake coincidence :)

I have pushed the merge of the two Patrick thru now that it is clearer that Private User and Alexander Durrett are the same person and the merging of Patrick does not introduce any erroneous children to the family group.

Sherrie Novak is Adrienne Spector's third cousin once removed, Sherrie Anne Novak hasn't used Geni since 2019 so probably won't respond to messages or requests.
